My name is Marija Pavlova and I go by Marula. Welcome to my site and please take a look into my work & my thinking process. I am a graphic designer, with a woodworking engineering background. ​Since a young girl, I was very passionate about sewing a new outfit to my dolls or painting the furniture in my room, so to say aesthetically enriching my toys & surroundings. ​Later on, by studying art history & industrial design, I have learned the endless and always changing designing principles and trends. The indefinite technical drawing hours, trained my eye for grid systems & hands for clean lines & writing. ​The moment I have started the Graphic Designing, it felt like the Pandora´s box has opened & discovered new ways and tools of creative expression. From drawing illustrations to giving them motions, visualizing book´s message & ideas or giving brand-new visual identity, felt the same rush & enthusiasm the young Marija had while cutting my mom´s sweater & sewing my Barbie a new dress.
